I sampled the celebration cake on Tuesday, January 11 and while it was certainly tasty, it was much more dense than the cake I've had at the Manhattan Bakery two years ago. Not sure if it's due to the shipping, but the cake was very dense. Especially the buttercream. It was way too thick and laid out like a brick in my stomach for about 24 hours.
Both me and my girlfriend agreed the cake would have been better as a four layer cake, splitting the current layers into two (half) with smaller amount of frosting throughout.
Buen sabor aunque un poquito seco el pan.
