Perfect for my birthday

We ordered this cake from several states away so I was worried about how it'd turn out with the delivery. But it was packaged and handled perfectly! It was beautiful and delicious.

Not bad

The cake was very well packed and looked perfect on arrival. It’s beautiful and dark. I was surprised that it didn’t taste that chocolatey. And it wasn’t moist enough. It looks much better than it tastes. It doesn’t taste bad and it’s not a bad cake. It is just okay.

Delicious cake

Though it wasn’t the Ebinger’s Brooklyn Blackout cake I remembered from my childhood, it was still a rich, tasty cake that I was glad I purchased. A bit more dense than I had expected.

Absolutely delicious!! But much smaller than I pictured

This cake tastes absolutely fantastic — a bittersweet dream. We truly loved it. The only thing that disappointed me was the size. It says "feeds 10-12 people," so I was picturing something a LOT bigger. It is only 6 inches across (which the description does state) so when you show up to a party with this cake, it looks rather unimpressive. It does not look like you brought enough cake for everyone. There is no way you could get 12 average-sized pieces out of this 6" cake.
